Who here likes gum? I know I see the majority of your hands being raised. Mine is totally raised! I'm quite the gum freak. I go through a pack in a matter of hours. Unfortunately, that's a tell-tale sign that the gum isn't worth it. If it's not going to last, it's not worth spending the money on. I'm here to introduce a new kind of gum. PUR Gum. I received all four flavors that PUR Gum offers - Peppermint, Pomegranate Mint, Spearmint and Excitement (ooooo!!). My absolute favorite was the Pomegranate Mint flavor. I'm one of those people that likes anything that has a pink or red coloring, and this was no different. However, one thing was certainly different. The taste. The taste was so real and alive with juicy flavor. I didn't want it to end, and I didn't HAVE to. Not for a while, at least.
I also enjoyed the fact that this gum is aspartame free. What is aspartame, you ask? Aspartame is a man-made artificial sweetener that is often found in sugar-free gum, beverages and candies. Aspartame has plenty of negative side effects, including dizziness and mood changes. In fact, the FDA listed 92 symptoms of aspartame poisoning.
PUR Gum is sweetened with Xylitol. Xylitol is just as sweet as table sugar. However, it has 40% less calories and 75% fewer carbs. It is widely recommended to diabetics as a wonderful sugar substitute. I live in a household with two diabetics, so it was nice to be able to introduce a healthier version of sugar-free gum to them.
PUR Gum is made with only a few simple ingredients. Say so long to all those harsh chemicals!
